7-STEPS TO CRAFT YOUR OWN FUTURE

Craft your future, the past cannot be changed and the present is just happening. So what is in our hands to change is what is coming. YES! You can CRAFT YOUR FUTURE!

That does not at all mean we have to keep thinking only about the future to make it happen. The secret is in one word PLANNING.

But there is one activity that comes before planning that is knowing What you Want? Every other person has different desires, expectations from life. And to maximize the happiness level of life we must first identify what we want and what truly gives us happiness.

Life is not about one thing, it is the sum total of

what we do,
how healthy we are,
our relations,
the society we live in,
the lifestyle we have,
our self-worth and
The most important how we feel every day.

I might have missed some factors or you may have some additional important factors. But more or less these are factors that determine the quality of your life.

The important thing to note is that there is no one factor that is more important than another. They all are equally important. But different people value them differently.

So, There can be a person for whom lifestyle is more important than relations, and for another person, self-worth might be supreme of all. The degree varies with every other individual and honestly, there are no right answers.

It is about One’s Life, One’s Dream Life. How can there be a standard manual of operations? We are not machines or in other words, we are the most complex machines and the miracle of nature. Everyone is different, even the identical twins who share their genetic model to the highest degree don’t have the same wants and dreams.

So how can you CRAFT YOUR FUTURE?

Now I am going to give you a Step-by-Step framework following which you can also enjoy your perfect life as per your desires and dreams.

All you need is to believe.

Step-1 Get yourself a beautiful Diary. Yes, I am serious. Buy a Diary that is handy, beautiful and you would love to keep with you for the rest of your life as a life partner. This has to be different than your journal, gratitude diary, or planner.

Step-2 Firstly in a rough paper draft 3-5 stories about your life. Incorporate all the tiny details. Details like how healthy are you, how are your relations, how you spend time, what you do daily, where you live, what you love most about your life.

Why 3-5 stories because every next time we discover something we missed that is vitally important for our life.

Step-3 Select the final version which is most elaborate and has all the minute details of your life. Your perfect life story. Write it down in your beautiful Life Dairy.

Step-4 Now you need to divide this story into action plans.

If not structured into actions this will remain a story in your dairy only. Divide your dreams into 5 yearly action plans, yearly achievable goals, a monthly review system, weekly tasks and daily actions to be taken.

For Monthly, weekly and daily actions get yourself a daily planner.

Step-5 Write the person you have to become to live that life, the changes you need to do. Skills you need to learn. Who are you plays the most important role in achieving your results!

Step-6 Write down your values and ethics which you will be standing for throughout your life. They define your personality and actions. This is another very important assessment. You want to work from home but you don’t like staying at home, now this is controversial.

Step-7 TAKE ACTION

What is the guarantee that I will live my dream life with this?

As I said earlier there is a 99% guarantee (1% for earth collapse).

There are some prerequisites though

Dream Life story has to be real and not a fantasy story. Like after 5 years I am living on Mars. It can be ambitious like I own a house in NY but backed by your ability, capability, and willingness to do the hard work.

You should believe in that story. There is no need to show it to anyone else. It is you who has to believe to the core that all that you have written is possible and there is no doubt in that.

The minute you doubt the chances of achieving the same decreases. Doubts are traitors and often make us lose what we would have easily won by believing. Review your written goals often and keep yourself driven and motivated. You must REVISIT and REREAD this piece of paper as time goes on to keep your subconscious mind FOCUSED.

You have to take action, daily action. Story not backed by action will remain a story and there is nothing more hurtful than living someone’s else life. So, TAKE ACTION.

Be the ideal person every day and for your life, you wrote down in Step-5. Learn skills, read and study to become more of what you want to be.
